Eli Wilson currently serves as STC’s vice president of growth where he leads a team of strategists and solution architects that seek out organizations who are ready to level up their digital engineering transformation and realize the value of model-based systems engineering.

In 15+ years of engineering, Eli has served broad industries: land development, higher education, energy, defense and agriculture. While each industry has unique challenges and specific language, the need to navigate new technology and customize solutions is common across all.

Prior to STC in 2020, Eli was a senior autonomy engineer at FireFly Automatix developing an autonomous lawn mower, a senior systems engineer at Raytheon Missile Systems serving as an MBSE champion, and a systems engineer at BIW | ITT Cannon simulating oil wells in a test lab.

Eli received his BS in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Utah State University in 2009, where he also taught engineering courses, played too much guitar, and completed advanced post-graduate coursework in mechanical engineering and aerospace and engineering education.
